TREAT Huey and partner Max Mirnyi crushed their quarterfinal foes to advance in the Wimbledon men’s doubles Final Four Wednesday night.

The 30-year-old Filipino and his Belarusian partner defeated Jonathan Marray of Great Britain and Adil Shamasdin of Canada, 6-4, 7-6 (5), 6-3, in Court 2 of the famed All England courts.

It was the best ever achievement for a Filipino in a Grand Slam event although Huey made semis this year in Australian Open mixed doubles with Andreja Klepac of Slovenia.

Huey previously reached men’s doubles quarterfinals twice in Melbourne (2004 and 2016) and US Open (2013).
