Alexander Bury, Andreas Siljestrom win men's doubles event in Budapest
MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Alexander Bury and Andreas Siljestrom of Sweden
won the men's doubles event in Budapest, BelTA has learned. In the final the Belarusian-Swedish
tandem beat the Austrian-U.S. duet of Philipp Oswald and James Cerretani 7-6 (7-3),
6-4.
Max Mirnyi will play in Paris this week. The Belarusian tennis player and Treat
Huey of the Philippines will open 2016 BNP Paribas Masters against John Peers of
Australia and Henri Kontinen of Finland. Both the duos will compete for the right
to play at the 2016 Barclays ATP World Tour Finals which is due in London on 13-20
November. John Peers and Henri Kontinen are currently ranked 7th in the ATP Doubles
Race Rankings. Max Mirnyi and Treat Huey go 8th. Eight best pairs will go to the
British capital, with six of them already known. The others will be named after
the Paris tournament which will be over on 6 November.
